The award-winning Eden Project is one of the most famous attractions in Cornwall, if not the UK. The two giant biomes are home to a rainforest and a Mediterranean landscape, bringing some of the world’s most striking plant life direct to visitors.
This 50-room former family home gives visitors a glimpse into life at a Victorian country house. The stately rooms and an entire wing for children contrast with the warren of kitchens, larders and sculleries ‘below stairs’.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan
Rediscovered after decades lost to the undergrowth, now brambles and gorse have been removed to reveal the amazing Lost Gardens of Heligan. Discover Victorian Productive Gardens, Pleasure Gardens and a sub-tropical paradise.
Well worth a visit…
Spend your time visiting the many chocolate-box fishing villages, small market towns and the picturesque city of Truro during your stay at Seaview. Or why not follow in the footsteps of Ross Poldark by visiting the many film locations of this popular drama?
Looe & Polperro
Just a short distance from our park, the busy town of Looe and village of Polperro are well worth a visit. Looe keeps visitors entertained all year round while picturesque Polperro is a major draw for visitors.
Head west and discover a quieter part of Cornwall on the Lizard Peninsula. The UK’s most southerly landmass, The Lizard is home to some of the county’s finest beaches and picture-perfect locations.
Must visit beaches
Cornwall is famed for its coastline, with miles of golden sandy beaches and hidden coves just waiting to be explored. Here’s just a few of those that are located close to Seaview Holiday Village that you’ll definitely want to visit…
Talland Bay is a small and quiet place midway between Looe and Polperro. There are two principal beaches in Talland Bay, both are quite small – the one to the west has sand both at high tide and low tide and is good for swimming at both high and low tides.
Lansallos Beach is one of Cornwalls hidden treasures. Also known as West Coombe, it is a quiet, attractive, south facing cove of sand and rocks near Polperro. There is a small waterfall on the western side of the beach which used to power a small mill.
The beaches of Whitsand Bay offer three miles of stunning sand from Rame Head to Portwrinkle and are considered one of Cornwall’s hidden gems. Reached by steep paths and steps that wind down between the verdant vegitation, these beaches are never crowded.
