Dog Friendly holidays in Cornwall

We know that pets are part of the family and that holidays without them just aren’t the same. After all, your pets deserve a break too! Why should they miss out on all the fun?

We understand that pets are important – that’s why all our holiday parks in Cornwall are pet friendly! Whether you’re bringing your tent, tourer or motorhome or fancy a self-catering getaway in our caravan, you can bring your pet and enjoy a relaxing break together!

Dog friendly holidays in Cornwall

With miles of countryside and coast for them to explore, Cornwall was made for holidays with your pet pooch! They’ll love getting their paws wet in the sea, paddling on the beach, exploring the estuaries or discovering news smells in rolling countryside.

The South West Coast Path, which meanders its way around Cornish coast, is perfect for letting them stretch their legs as they accompany you on a trek around this magical landscape. You can pick up the South West Coast Path from right outside most of parks, so there’s no excuse for not giving it a go (and your pet will thank you for it!)

Dog friendly beaches

Cornwall is famed for its coastline and, thankfully, many of the county’s amazing beaches welcome dogs all year round. Here’s just some of our favourites that are only a short distance from our Cornwall holiday parks.

  • Harlyn Bay, Padstow
One of Cornwall’s best family beaches, Harlyn is wide, spacious and is home to glistening turquoise blue waters. There’s lots of space for pooches to run free here!
  • Trebarwith Strand, Tintagel
Trebarwith is a superb all round beach that boasts good bathing and surfing with plenty of nooks and crannies for your furry friends to explore.
  • Summerleaze beach, Bude
Summerleaze is particularly popular with families and is sheltered by an impressive breakwater. Dogs are welcome all year round, however must be kept on leads from 21 May – 30 September.
  • Seaton beach, Looe
Your pooch will love their time here, with lots of sands, pebbles and rock pools for them to explore. There’s also plenty of amenities nearby with a large café, shop and toilets.
  • Watergate Bay, near Newquay
This is the place where your dog can really stretch their legs, with two miles of sandy beach for them to explore at low tide.

All of our pet-friendly grades of accommodation include the following items for your dog. It saves space in the car and will make your dog feel right at home!

– Dog basket
– Food bowl
– Water bowl
– Treats
– Dog poop bags
